Eduvice

Eduvice started as university admissions advice for high school students who had no one to ask. Three years later it is a learning platform with programs, an AI project mentor and more than 1,300 students.

Where it started

In my first year at KMUTT, juniors kept messaging me the same questions. Which faculty fits me? Which portfolio gets me in? Is computer engineering the same as computer science? The students who asked had one thing in common: nobody at home had gone through Thai university admissions before.

We tried answering in group chats. It did not scale, and the advice was only as good as whoever replied first. So we built a simple intake form and a roadmap template, and opened it to the public.

How it grew

  1. May 2023 · First launch

A personalized roadmap tool and 1:1 counseling. 200+ students signed up within 48 hours, far more than we could serve.

  2. Dec 2023 · Incubation in Japan

Selected as 1 of 35 CEOs in MHESI x Science Park’s Experiential Learning Program, incubated with Bornrex & Co. We studied how Japanese student centers run counseling at scale.

  3. 2024 · Funding and the league

Seed funding from TED Youth Startup 2024 (MHESI). Represented KMUTT in Startup Thailand League 2024. 13 universities and lecturers, plus 6 schools, supported the service.

  4. 2025 – 2026 · From advice to skills

Students did not only need to get in; they needed to be ready. We launched Jumpstart Academy, learning tracks and Aisus, an AI mentor that reviews every commit.

What did not work

  • 1:1 counseling for everyone. Demand was there, but our time was not. We moved the common answers into roadmaps and kept 1:1 for the hard cases.
  • Charging high school students directly early on. Most could not pay. Scholarships and partner funding became part of the model.

Where it is now

Eduvice now runs programs, products and community for students building software careers: Jumpstart Academy, the YDP Fellowship, learning resources and a program comparison tool for Thai CE/CS degrees.

Lessons

Our first users told us what they needed by what they asked twice. The product was the list of repeated questions.
