KMUTT Startup Club
KMUTT’s student network for innovators and entrepreneurs, formerly UCAN Sandbox. It began with one scholarship-funded event and grew into a club with teams from four faculties.
Where it started
In 2022 I received KMUTT’s leadership scholarship to run an entrepreneurship skills project. One event was not enough. The students who came wanted somewhere to keep building, so we turned the event team into a network called UCAN Sandbox.
As the network grew into part of the university’s startup ecosystem, it was renamed KMUTT Startup Club.

Lessons
A community lasts when it no longer needs its founder. The new name is the best sign: it now belongs to KMUTT, not to me.
